Porsche Panamera Turbo S: Porsche is pushing it's uber "S" range further than ever, with this year's New York Auto Show bringing us the S incarnation of the Panamera Turbo, a development that brings new goodies to the four-door coupe segment.
The two.8 liter V8 unit has been pushed to 550 hp (the standard Turbo offers 500 hp), with the maximum torque being increased from 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) to 553 lb-ft (750 Nm). And there's more: the standard Sport Chrono Package allows the driver to temporarily increase the torque, using the "Sport" and "Sport Plus" modes. Thus, the torque is increased to 590 lb-ft (800 Nm).
All that muscle translates in to stunning actual world performance: the 0 to 62 mph dash is covered in a supercar-rivaling five.6 seconds, while the top speed sits at 306 km/h (190 mph).
The vehicle is connected to the road by new rims that come in a twenty inch size and are wrapped in high-performance tires. And the story doesn't finish at the Exterior chapter, as the inside has also been upgraded. The cabin offers a new leather combinations, such as Agate Grey / cream or Black/cream. Thus, the driver and the passengers can enjoy power in a luxurious surroundings in the traditional Porsche way.
The vehicle is scheduled to reach US showrooms later this spring. So, you're thinking about making of this door coupes yours?
