Admins Of Bristol Looking For New Owners His Cars

Latest:Bristol Cars famous for its exclusive,hand built luxury cars has gone in to administration.Tom MacLennan & Trevor Binyon of RSM Tenon have been appointed to handle the administration & aim to find buyers for Bristol Cars . It is reported that 22 redundancies have been made.


The luxury automobile maker is still jogging its spare parts & service operations but 22 of the 27 employees have already been made redundant including everyone at the manufacturing unit in Bristol.Bristol Cars has prided itself for hand making its cars to the specification of individual owners & has built a reputation for solid & reliable craftsmanship.

MacLennan said: "Unfortunately,while there's been numerous immediate redundancies due to the financial position of the company,we are maintaining the sales and service operations so customers will continue to be supported. They would urge any interested parties to make contact with us as quickly as feasible and are confident that they can secure the future of this iconic British brand".

Bristol Cars is popular among the rich who don't like to be seen in anything flamboyant.The current models of vehicles Bristol Cars offers in its only showroom are priced between £150,000 and £250,000.The administrators hope to find new owners.In the firm's prime, it was making around 200 cars a year and had a waiting list of 18 months.
