Chevrolet Mi-ray,The Best Hybrid Roadster Concept Car at Show 2011

Chevrolet Concept Car At Seoul Motor Show

The mid-engine sports automobile has been electrified. To celebrate its centennial,Chevrolet Mi-Ray debuted at the 2011 Seoul Motor Show a hybrid supercar idea with the styling of a jet fighter but the fuel consumption of a Volt. The design won the award for Best Idea Automobile at the Seoul Motor Show 2011.

Most idea cars are nothing over flights of fancy undertaken by designers to lure people in to the booth to see what actual cars they can buy.Sometimes, however, idea cars show hints at what future models might look like. It's an idea for now but the hybrid roadster could add some edge & sportiness to the company''s"green" line of vehicles.

Korean for “future”,the chevrolet Mi-Ray is an open top roadster too so I don’t really anticipate that it’ll make it to showrooms in quite this form. There aren’t too many mass produced cars without roofs. The rear wheels are driven by the 1.5L four-banger behind the driver, while the front wheels get their grunt from two front-mounted 15kW (20hp) electric motors. The electric car concept was developed together with Mahindra & Mahindra SsangYong of India as the owner of 70 percent stake SsangYong today.

Mi-ray is developed by Chevrolet Mi-ray at the Design Studio in Seoul. This automobile combines the latest hybrid know-how & futuristic appearance,as well as symbols show the Chevrolet design vision for the future.Mi-ray also continued the Chevrolet sports automobile characteristics such as 1963 & SPADA Monza Corvair Tremendous Spyder in 1962.The roof can be opened, use the scissor doors, aerodynamic body features such as combat aircraft today. Compact roadster with futuristic design & distinctive. The dimensions of this idea automobile:length:3991 mm,width 1865 mm & height of 1110 m ( flat) & wheelbase 2375 mm.
